Yes, Shulin Lake Resort is an adults-only property. Guests must be at least 21 years old to check in. Guests 18 and older may stay if accompanied by someone 21 or older within the same group. For safety and comfort, we do not allow guests under the age of 18.
Yes, Shulin Lake Resort welcomes pets. We ask that pets remain leashed in outdoor areas and are not left unattended in guest rooms. A small cleaning fee may apply to ensure the comfort of all future guests.
The surrounding area is home to incredible wildlife, including moose, bald eagles, bears, and a variety of bird species. Guests are reminded to observe wildlife from a safe distance, never attempt to feed or approach them, and respect their natural habitat.
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. A valid photo ID matching the reservation name is required at check-in. Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged if available and may require an additional fee.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance is due 90 days prior to arrival. Cancellations within 90 days of arrival are non-refundable unless we can rebook your stay. We strongly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance for added protection.

Alaska’s weather can be unpredictable. Shulin Lake Resort is not responsible for cancellations, extra nights, or delays caused by weather. If you have connecting flights or travel on your departure day, we recommend scheduling them after 3:00 PM to allow for possible floatplane delays.
